Previously, Davilas carried out Quest 485 to unlock the Druid vocation. He also carried out Quest 544 to unlock the Gadabout vocation. Now, he will carry out the quests to unlock the Death Master, Magic Swordfighter, and Pirate vocations.
Davilas regains control in his house in the Azlan housing area. Outside, he checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyers! He also gets back a Level 1 fan that did not sell.
When he is ready to go, Davilas Zooms to Glen.
Glen (time 2:06):
Davilas takes the exit at H-6 to the Eastern Glen Region.
Eastern Glen Region (time 2:36):
Davilas heads to the dead end in the far southeast of the zone, where there is a well. At F-7, he sets a Zoom Stone to the crystal near the well.
Then, Davilas descends the well at F-7. In a scene, he meets Dezlyn and Nelim.
After the scene, Davilas gains control in Dezlin’s House in the well. At E-2, he talks to Dezlin. Her name is in yellow, so Sanbitaria rewards Davilas with a Mini Medal for a total of 1,341.
When Dezlin asks if Davilas wants to become a Death Master, Davilas says yes. Dezlin issues Quest 603: “Twilight Death Master”. This quest has a few prerequisites: (1) have Version 5 installed and registered, (2) clear Quest 034: “Dharma’s Trials”, and (3) have a vocation at Level 50 or higher. Davilas’s first objective is to examine the book on the table in Dezlin’s House.
Davilas examines the book on the table in the middle of the room at E-2. This triggers an event. The next objective is to visit Kovatch at the Jungle Camp in the Buna Rainforest.
Davilas exits the well at D-7. Then, he Zooms to the Buna Rainforest.
Buna Rainforest (time 11:12):
Davilas arrives at the Jungle Camp at F-7.
Next to the item shop, Davilas talks to a Dwarf named Kovatch at F-7. At the first selection, he answers “Yes”. Then, he selects the second option, “おむかえデスよ”. He receives the Call of Death (おむかえデスよ) key item. The next objective is to take this to Dezlin.
Davilas Zooms to Dezlin’s well in the Eastern Glen Region.
Eastern Glen Region (time 13:09):
Davilas enters Dezlin’s House via the well at F-7. Within, he talks to Dezlin at E-2. This triggers some dialogue. The next objective is to examine the sofa along the northern wall.
Davilas examines the sofa at D-1. He chooses “Yes”. This triggers an event.
Davilas arrives in the Twilight Garden. At E-4, he examines the sparkly spot at the base of the tree. He chooses “Yes”. This triggers an event. When he is presented with a choice, he chooses the first option.
After the event, Davilas is returned to Dezlin’s House. His next objective is to talk to Dezlin again.
Davilas talks to Dezlin at E-2. Quest 603 complete! He unlocks the Death Master (デスマスター) vocation. Death Master starts at Level 50.
At D-7, Davilas exits the well. Then, he Zooms to True Gran Zedoura.
True Gran Zedoura Castle Town (time 20:16):
Just west of the town entrance, Davilas enters the Sword Bar at D-8.
In the Sword Bar, he talks to Agatha, the bartender, at D-7. Her name is in yellow, so Sanbitaria rewards Davilas with a Mini Medal for a total of 1,342.
Afterwards, Agatha talks to Davilas. She asks if he wants to be a Magic Swordfighter, and he says yes. Agatha issues Quest 661: “Tavern of the Magic Swordfighter”. This quest has a few prerequisites: (1) have Version 5 installed and registered, (2) clear Quest 034: “Dharma’s Trials”, and (3) have a vocation at Level 50 or higher. Davilas must talk to one of the NPCs in the bar for further instructions.
At D-6/D-7, Davilas talks to Gibson at a table. This triggers some dialogue. Davilas answers yes a couple of times. Davilas must encounter a Minidemon (ミニデーモン) in the True Meru Sandy Grain Fields and defeat it with a blow that deals 300+ damage. Note that a killing blow from a support character or party member will not count.
Davilas leaves the pub at D-2. Then, he Zooms to True Meru Sandy.
True Meru Sandy (time 26:50):
At D-8, Davilas exits south to the True Meru Sandy Grain Fields.
